Richard FraserRichard’s Bio

Work as hard as you can not for money but for success in what you do. All of the good things in life are rewards for doing the best at everything you do.

I moved to Scenic Acres in grade 6. I went through the Bowness school system, starting from the last year of Elementary at Belvedere-Parkway. Grade 7-9 was spent across from the Railway tracks at T.B Riley where I really met some great teachers who had a large impact on my life. The Most enjoyable years of my education were spent in high school at Bowness High. I am happy to say that I met some of the best teachers of my life here and Mr Tuck the best principal in the Calgary System. My high school time was made by my active sports life where I was introduced to foot ball and Rugby.

In my senior year our Rugby trip to New Zealand was Cancelled 3 days before the flight due to President Bush starting a war and all international travel was grounded by the school board, thanks to all the hard working coaches and parents we had a new trip to Ottawa three days later. Sadly our Rugby team lost the city final game. I am proud to say that my Foot Ball championship ring still goes with me everywhere, as a crowning achievement of my young life and a constant reminder that a commitment to excellence pays off in every stage of life. Being a Champion Football player gave me confidence to be the best and also taught me the humility that life is team sport and everyone around you must commit to excellence in order to achieve success. Thank you Coach Daum.

After high School I left home in search of myself. I started work in the oil patch, first a short stint on the Drilling rigs then found my way into pipe line x-ray. Over the course of five years I grew in Lacombe. I made many strong friendships, bought a house, and a nice truck that I was very proud of. Due to the slowing economy the oil patch work slowed down and I decided along with the help of my mother and now business partner that I had some good qualities to bring into the family Real-estate business. I am now coming up to a year working for RE/MAX in North West Calgary and enjoying success even in a slow market. I enjoy selling houses and working with people to inform and make good choices when it comes to home buying or answering questions about their current situations.

Over the last year I have had the opportunity to work very closely with a large bank to sell all of their Calgary foreclosures. This rare opportunity has forced me mature in business very quickly, due to being an agent for a large bank, lawyers and the Court of Queen’s Bench. I have also taken courses to further my knowledge of the foreclosure process in hopes of one day getting more banks as clients. Every day is a hard fought journey that must be concluded with the satisfaction of learning and achieving. I would be very proud and humbled if any of you, my friends would seek out my expertise in your real-estate needs.
